Rebellious Mama Introduction

Rebellious Mama is me.  Who am I?  Well.  No one really to you.  At least not until now.  One thing is for sure, and that is I have never considered myself to be a writer.  And I recognize that that sounds very cliché, right?  Everyone who has never written something for more than their own eyes to read probably starts off saying that exact same thing.  In which case, that makes me no different really than anyone else who has tried.   For me personally, writing is a necessary outlet for my stream of consciousness. 

I spend an exhaustive amount of time in my own head, therefore, my thoughts are very often out of my control.  The only way I have learned to process situations that trouble me, is to write down how I feel, oftentimes even giving myself permission to laugh in the face of something that might not be really all that funny.  My choice words are often unsavory at best, although not enough of a distraction to be unflavorful.  Consider that my disclaimer.  

Because I am a self-described introvert with extrovert tendencies, I am often quiet until I decide to join the fray and add my voice to a conversation.  That just means that I take in a lot of information before I say anything, and choose my words and battles very carefully. Like most people, I have strong opinions about certain issues and endeavor to provide a different perspective that is often laced with a little humor and maybe throw in some necessary elemental facts.   I think we are mostly grownups and at this point should be able to recognize the fact that we are not all always, if ever, going to agree.  

Rebellious Mama has become my brainchild where I write about my observations, and subsequent opinions, and my excessive, and oftentimes, overblown analysis of it all.  The only assurances that I provide are grammar inequities as well as a profound misuse and poor placement of punctuation, most specifically the comma.  My specialty is run-on sentences, which is just a fancy way of saying that I have erratic and seemingly never-ending thoughts.

I am a mother, a tree shaker, a problem solver, and a fierce believer in what is right.  I am Rebellious Mama.
